— Perhaps you already know about the US's nationwide Interlibrary Loan (ILL) system; it's a special desk within our libraries that has a special computer accessing all other linked computers within other US libraries. We give the info on the book/DVD etc. to that person (in person or by phone), and they request that title, which then gets sent physically to our library, when we are notified and go promptly to pick it up.
The Prescott, AZ library for sure has the Revised Edition of the "Abby Wize -- AWAY" book.
Cottonwood, Arizona library also carries it, but has opted out of the ILL nationwide system and only loans within the Yavapai Public Library system.
For the nationwide ILL system, you'd tell your ILL librarian the book info* and have them request it from this one particular library. I hear there's a waiting list for it, but if you're ok with that, you'd wait until you're notified that the book is ready for you, then you'll have the usual amount of time (usually 3 weeks) to read it. If there's no one else waiting for it, you can renew it, but I understand there's a pretty long waiting list for this one.
It would be so great if you'd request your library to buy a copy and carry it! Then more people can read this wonderful tale of world peace.
